One of my teeth has chipped, cracked, and started crumbling in the last couple of years
(had root canal on it in 2004), and the filling fell out this afternoon after lunch (grilled cheese with ham). I guess I should consider myself lucky that the 'temp' filling lasted 14 years, since I never went back to get a cap/crown or whatever else they were supposed to do with it, after I got a look at the bill for the root canal. I believe I'm still making payments on that work...
