French's Crunchy Toppers

I bought a couple of these French's Crunchy Toppers, that I don't think I've tried before, during an early morning bday run to wallyworld.

I purchased the Dill Pickle and Red Pepper versions.  They're for adding to soups, salads, casseroles or snacking on right out of the container.

After tasting both items, the Red Pepper toppers are ok, not really a lot of flavor to them compared with the French Fried Onions or Jalapeno offerings. 

The Dill Pickle toppers had a smell like I'd just opened a can of paint, and although I don't know what paint chips taste like, I'd say these probably taste more like paint chips than dill pickles...
