Boot Lacing Tip For Added Circulation In Lower Legs And Feet



I've done similar lacing with my boots, as shown in the informative video, because of my diabetic peripheral neuropathy and edema/swelling of feet and legs.

Sometimes they're so swollen that I cannot even fit them in my boots or shoes, even with the laces removed, and at other times when I'm dehydrated, my feet look almost emaciated and my footwear feel loose unless I wear thick socks.  My shoe size since high school has 13 extra wide (4E).

I'm supposed to wear shoes all the time to protect my feet, except when sleeping/showering of course, as any injury or sores that might develop (heels crack and bleed) could easily lead to infection and amputation...
