Today was the third day that I've reported for jury duty this week. My number/name was called today from among the prospective jurors, so I got in line for the clerk to walk us upstairs to the courtroom. Halfway up the stairs we stopped, and waited for about ten minutes, then the clerk came and told us to turn around and go back to the waiting room.
The clerk then explained that the lady, who's case we were going to see about, had left the building and the judge was putting out a bench warrant on her, so we could all go home and didn't have to come back the rest of the week, we were excused...
