Homemade nachos at 3AM, because heartburn is an addiction, lol... :P
Recipe:
~ 1 can of favorite brand of chili
~ Desired amount of sliced jalapeños, fresh or from a jar
~ Desired type and amount of favorite cheese
~ Couple of handfuls of favorite tortilla chips
Dress
up the can of chili if desired, using a little barbecue sauce, ketchup,
mustard, worcestershire sauce, sugar, and black/red/cayenne pepper,
then heat it up in the microwave until hot.
Spread out a couple of handfuls of tortilla chips on microwave safe plate, add some jalapeno slices.
Pour
hot chili over tortilla chips, add cheese and some more jalapeno
slices, then heat in microwave long enough to melt the cheese. I use a spork or knork to dig in before chips have a chance to get too soggy. :)
Taking your 'go to' heartburn remedy before, during, and after is optional.
