Our new hot water heater, installed this morning, a Rheem PRO G40.The old water heater lasted almost 13 years before the hot water started coming into the house a nice rusty brown color, so no wonder the socks and tighty whities wouldn't stay white, lol...
My folks do not expect to stay in this house too much longer, so they aren't looking to put a whole lot of money into it when they are still upside down on the mortgage since the housing bubble burst eight years ago. The home's value has been going back up, but is still a good bit below what they paid for it.
