This is the first half gallon of Blue Bell Ice Cream I've bought since they recently made it back to the local ice cream freezer shelves. The Homemade Vanilla has been my favorite and it did not disappoint with the first bowl I had after bringing some home from wallyworld.I'd seen it a week or so ago at Walgreens, but the $7.99 price tag was a definite deterrent at that time.
I did not see it at Kroger the last time I went there, but found it this morning at Walmart for $6.97, still higher than the occasional on sale price they used to be found at around the $4 mark, but I pulled the trigger this time anyway...
