First day of Fall breakfast...

I fixed some baked cheese grits for breakfast. I wanted to mix in some jalapeno, but Ma doesn't like spicy stuff. 

I added some bacon bits to mine after I put a serving in a bowl.

BBQ wrap up

Went to the hospital wound clinic this morning to see about my legs and they put tighter compression wraps on both that will stay on until my next appointment in a week or so.  

Hopefully this will help the ulcers on my legs heal up...

 

When we got home Ma put some chicken breasts on my tiny barbecue grill for lunch.

Snack time!

 Had some Doritos and Lays potato chips with the Jalapeño and Cheddar dip.  

I like the dip, but it is pricey compared to making your own.

Saucy Sauce...

In today's mail (wallyworld delivery), I received a bottle of the new Heinz \MAYORACHA' Saucy Sauce. 

I look forward to giving it a try.  Ma took a look and shook her head, saying, "Nope.", lol...  She doesn't like anything spicy, but I do, and Pa will tolerate some foods with a bit of heat.

Patio Lizard

Our resident back patio lizard has been hanging around for at least the last couple of months, and I try to snap a photo when it'll stay still long enough.

I've been told that it's an Eastern Fence Lizard (Sceloporus undulatus).

Hot nuts...

 
Snack time. These Blue Diamond Bold Habanero BBQ Almonds are not as spicy/hot as I expected, but  are still good.

Spicy pickles

These Famous Dave's Devil's Spit Pickle Chips are a bit spicier than their regular spicy pickles, but not so hot as to make them intolerable.  I do like the bread and butter flavor with the lingering heat.

My new desk chair...

My new desk chair arrived and Ma and I got it assembled. It reclines (for napping) and has a footrest. 😁

I was worried at first, seeing the word 'Instructions' misspelled on the cover of the manual, thinking that didn't bode well, but it worked out in the end, lol...
