A 1916 wheat penny/one cent piece that I received in change from the self-checkout at wallyworld this morning (Father's Day, June 19, 2019).I think that's a letter 'D' under the date (my eyes, argh!), so that would mean it was minted in Denver.
I wonder where it's been, who might have handled it over the past 100 years since it was minted...
A Facebook friend looked up the possible value range from cointrackers.com.
