In today's mail...

I recently read an online article and watched a video on Bear & Son Cutlery, and found a nice Scout knife made by them for sale on ebay. 

Not bad fit and finish for what it cost, with zebra wood scales and a lanyard bail, so lots of paracord attachment options.  I got it for just under $15, including shipping, so it was a good deal for a Made in the USA knife.

I also came across an offer for a free pair of Thorlo socks, just had to pay shipping for them, which came to under $5.  They've been a favorite brand of socks that I've been using for almost 25 years now.  I'm not a runner, but I like the cushioning setup in those particular versions that they make.
